Hi! I'm Ms. Vollmar and I will be teaching 8th grade science as a long-term substitute this year. I am currently finishing my Masters in Education at MVNU and have my undergraduate degree in Biology with a heavy focus in chemistry as well. 

I'm originally from Napoleon, Ohio, which is about 50 minutes outside of Toledo. I moved here for college in 2016 and only left for about 6 months following graduation. My passions in science include biology, anatomy & physiology, earthquakes and plate tectonics, and some bits of chemistry. 

Being the youngest of six children, I have plenty of nieces and nephews to visit when I go home, as well as one niece in Florida. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, baking, hiking, powerlifting, visiting family, binge watching Grey's Anatomy and grabbing coffee with friends or going to the Amish markets in Knox County.
