    Bulldog Family,                                                                                     March 13, 2020

During this time in history in which we are experiencing unprecedented events together, I want to express to you my joy in seeing how diligent and efficiently our elementary staff has been working to create the best solutions in unexpected circumstances. We will be communicating as much information to you as we know, when we know. We thank you for your patience and willingness to work with us at this time.

Teachers have been working today and will work through the day Monday to get as many lessons printed off as possible to send home with your children for the time that they will be off (March17-April 3). Instructions for online resources and materials will be coming to you as soon as possible. All lessons and assignments will be graded and go toward every students’ 4th 9 weeks final grade.

In order to turn in completed lessons that were sent home with students, parents/guardians have the following options available:

    1. From March 23 - April 3, students' lessons that are completed can be dropped off at the main office at the elementary from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
    2. If this window of time does not work to drop off student work, students will be able to turn their completed work in upon their return to school (April 13th).
    3. Parents/guardians can take a picture of a completed student assignment and email it to their teacher.

***Preferred method of communication with teachers is email; alternative methods of communication may be specified and communicated to you by your child’s teacher.

    Cody Reese

    East Knox Elementary Principal
